The first package of Sibu flood mitigation project worth RM78 million will start soon, Natural Resources and Environment Minister, Datuk Douglas Uggah Embas sms-ed to Sarawak Update.

“this is the first package. On completion of these project it will help to reduce flood incidents. There are few more packages for govt consideration under M10plan.

“The main issue I like to emphasis is that BN govt will implement what it promise. These project were announced in March. The tender process for RM78 million almost completed. Next contractor will start the work. So it is not just promise. We will deliver,” he stressed.
