The police pulled in 500 people from entertainment outlet and reflexology centres in the city in a massive anti crime swoop.

Sarawak Head of CID, SAC 11 Huzir bin Mohd confirmed that the Operation was done aggressively over the last three days to keep crime in control.

Huzir who followed part of the operations said the illegals would be referred to the Immigration department to be charged while those tested positive for drugs would be charged under the Drug Act 1951.

Four Indonesian were found to be without legal documents, seven men were tested positive for drugs and 163 of those rounded up were female.

All were documented after they were brought to the Badruddin police headquarter.

The three-day operation was carried out by various sections of the CID and Anti-Narcotic department involving 320 personnel.

The operation began after 10 pm until the wee hours of the morning.
